NASA on Their Next Mission to Moon

Meet NASA Astronaut Eugene Cernan, the last man to walk on the moon in December 1972. Before leaving the last footprint on the moon, he wrote his daughter's initials "TDC" on the moon dust and said, “We leave as we came, and, God willing, as we shall return, with peace and hope for all mankind. Godspeed the crew of Apollo 17.” Today, America has launched its first private moon landing mission after Apollo missions. But this time, the Peregrine lander is expected to safely land on the Lunar south pole region with 20 powerful science instruments. Even though the lander is currently experiencing some challenges as it makes its way to the lunar orbit, we still remain hopeful that it will touchdown on the lunar surface on Feb. 23. And this launch is just the beginning.
