ICC Awards 2023:

 My Predictions for the ICC Awards for the Year 2023:

1) ICC Men's Cricketer of the Year: 

Pat Cummins: Across Formats, he got 422 runs and picked up 59 wickets. He did everything you could ask for. He won the WC and WTC and retained the ashes. Also, his contributions with the bat were brilliant. 

Be it the Ashes 1st test vs ENG, in WC vs SA, NZL, and AFG he contributed with the bat too. And he stepped it up in the WC semis and final in the 2023 WC. 

2) ICC Men's Test Cricketer of the Year: 

Joe Root: he scored 787 runs at 65.58 avg and picked up 8 wickets at 35.62 avg. He has been phenomenal. 

3) ICC Men's ODI Cricketer of the Year:

Virat Kohli: He scored 1377 runs at 72.47 avg at 99 SR. No doubt he deserves it. Winning MOS in WC 2023 was a great achievement for him.

4) ICC Men's T20 Int Cricketer of the Year: 

SuryaKumar Yadav: 733 runs at 49 avg at 156 SR. There is no debate about this. Getting 2 t20 INT 100s in one year is no joke. 

5) ICC Men's Emerging Cricketer of the Year: 

Rachin Ravindra: His ability to bat and ball and bat anywhere and play such classical shots while batting is a joy to watch. He was brilliant in WC 2023 too. It's a no-brainer for me.

6) ICC Women's Cricketer of the Year: 

Ash Gardner: 481 runs and 58 wickets. So many wickets and runs in the same year are a rarity. She truly deserves it. She was even brilliant in women's ashes winning MOS.

7) ICC Women's ODI Cricketer of the Year: 

Nat Sciver Brunt: 393 runs at 131 avg at SR 107.37. These are insane nos and she has 3 ODI 100s in this. 

8) ICC Women's T20 Int Cricketer of the Year: 

Hayley Matthews: 700 runs at 64 avg at SR 132. 19 wickets at 16.21 Avg at ER 6.84. Outstanding nos. She was brilliant vs Aus Away. 

9) ICC Emerging Women's Cricketer of the Year: 

Phoebe Litchfield: The way she is batting is a dream. Her game simply has no weakness. Aus W has found a great batter in her.
